MADRID CITY GUIDE

25 years in love with Madrid, the city where I live. Student of photography and cinema, inveterate traveler and explorer.

Best Time To Visit

Spring and late summer. My favorite months are May, June and September. Perfect for beers and “tapas” on terraces of the city. You can lose youself in El Barrio de las Letras, El Madrid de los Austrias or go for a walk in El Retiro. If you come in summer, visit the Mountains or our Pantanos “beaches” of Madrid. Just everything you need in an amazing place to live.

Places I Like

Madrid on Sunday. Start the tour at the very center of Madrid, Sol. A few meters away, you´ll find the beautiful Plaza Mayor. Each door leads you to a different places in Madrid. Some of them are La Latina and El Rastro . El Rastro is a flea market that starts early on Sundays, where you can buy some clothes or old cameras. Returning to the Plaza Mayor , other of each doors takes you through the area of the Palacio Real, Jardines de Sabatini and Campo del Moro . We go through Plaza de España and make a visit El Templo de Debod, it’s is an old Egyptian building. In Gran Vía street, we can´t forget to go to the top of the most interesting building in Callao, the Corte Inglés one ( (it offers the best views of Gran Vía), from here, we can reach the Metropolitan building and El Círculo de Bellas Artes, where you can accees the roof and see all of Madrid. You should also visit the Correos Building in Cibeles, and take some photographs in the area of the museums (El Prado, Reina Sofia, Thyssen, etc.) Two mandatory stops are at the Jardín Botánico and Atocha. And if you still have energy, take a walk through El Parque del Retiro.
